Shared mobility refers to the shared use of a vehicle, bicycle, or other transportation modes.

It is a transportation strategy that allows users to access transportation services on an as-needed basis. Shared mobility is an umbrella term that encompasses a variety of transportation modes including carsharing, bike-sharing, peer-to-peer ridesharing, on-demand ride services, micro transit, and other modes.

Public bicycle system to connect urban agglomeration of Split

The Croatian city of Split has announced the creation of a city-wide public bike sharing scheme to improve connectivity within the city. “From Trogir to Podstrana, Split to Dicmo” is the guiding idea behind the new public bicycle sharing system that connects eight municipalities of the urban agglomeration.

Electric scooters banned from being parked on Copenhagen streets

The City of Copenhagen wants to ban electric scooter rentals from the city centre. Under a new regulation proposed by the Mayor of Technical and Environmental Affairs, Ninna Hedeager Olsen, it will no longer be possible to rent or park an electric scooter in the majority of Copenhagen's historic centre and adjacent neighbourhoods. The regulation is to put an end to the clutter and disorder caused by abandoned electric scooters in Copenhagen’s streets.
