7th Annual Future of Transport Conference 2022

Over the past two years, the European transport sector has been impacted significantly by the COVID-19 pandemic. Passenger and freight transport has been severely disrupted; supply chains moved to breaking point, while the demand and necessity for the sector to re-orientate towards more digital, efficient, and sustainable practices continues to increase. Greener, more intelligent, safer, and efficient transport systems are at the forefront of the European Commission’s priorities.

ITS European Congress

The ITS European Congress, the largest event entirely dedicated to smart mobility and digitalisation of transport, is organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe.

The ITS European Congress is part of a bigger cluster of ITS Congresses. It is organised in a European city in the years where there is no ITS World Congress in Europe. These events are a strategic opportunity for the transport industry to come together and show the latest innovations, with a slightly different focus for each year.

LINC project webinar: Beyond the hype of collective autonomous mobility

LINC is one of the largest projects working with autonomous collective mobility in Denmark. The project’s findings give urban planners insight into the infrastructure, physical and digital, that self-driving shuttles require. LINC’s goal is to get Autonomous Vehicles onto Danish streets and develop public transport to become the go-to green choice for Danish citizens. The project builds on a vision to provide a first/last mile service for the future Greater Copenhagen Light Rail that will support and strengthen the use of the light rail.

WE-TRANSFORM 2nd Stakeholder Workshop

The WE-TRANSFORM project is an EU-funded project addressing the impacts of transport automation on the workforce. The Second Stakeholder Forum Workshop will build upon first results of the project, to discuss the gaps which might arise from the transport automation and digitalisation for the workforce, the barriers to overcome, and the opportunities to seize for an inclusive transition towards a better functioning transport ecosystem.
