Educated to degree level or equivalent and a Chartered Member of the CIPD, you will have substantial previous strategic experience in a similar role and a track record of developing successful change initiatives, solving employee relations issues, providing HR advice and guidance to senior management and strong leadership skills. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm and diplomatic at all times, the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and a highly developed knowledge of employment law and practice. You will have line management experience and the proven ability to deliver on key HR issues. A commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport is also essential.
