Eltis Newsletter

Welcome to the October edition of the Eltis newsletter.

The European Commission's first ever Urban Mobility Days (UMD) conference took place between 29 September and 2 October. It brought together 2,000 experts for a virtual debate on some of the most relevant topics in urban mobility today. Those who were unable to attend can watch recorded conference sessions – links can be found here.

During the conference, winners and finalists of the prestigious CIVITAS Legacy and Resilience Awards were announced. While these urban mobility accolades may have already been allotted in 2020, cities may still apply for the 9th EU SUMP Awards, the EuropeanMobilityWeek Awards and the EU Urban Road Safety Awards, all with the deadline of 31 October 2020.

Also in this newsletter, we highlight some helpful new materials to assist in improving urban mobility and showcase excellent examples in written case studies.

Kind regards,

The Eltis team
