Another innovative aspect is that they were able to reduce sick-leave among parking enforcement staff from 15% to 4.5%. This has been achieved using special training giving particular attention to video-supported training on communication skills, conflict resolution, and avoidance strategies, given that parking attendants have suffered abuse and even physical assault in the past.
