CIVITAS VANGUARD organised its first training workshop on successful transport decision-making through stakeholder consultation and engagement processes to support CIVITAS Plus cities. Together with CIVITAS ELAN, VANGUARD organised a two-day training session in Ghent (Belgium).
The workshop provided relevant theoretical background, management and engagement tools. It presented several interesting case studies and good practice examples. The still-increasing private motorisation results in unsustainable traffic congestion and air pollution in the cities and regions of Central Europe.
