Sharing the Road Together: Drivers and Cyclists

By News Editor / Updated: 03 Nov 2016

Important barriers for people to go cycling is their concern around the safety of road cycling and concerns about drivers treating them badly.

This advice sheet, produced by the UK's Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, aims to provide simple safety tips for both drivers and cyclists on how we can share our roads together and avoid conflicts caused by not understanding one another’s needs and actions.

The advice sheet contains practical tips and insights that could be useful for authorities, road operators, stakeholders involved in traffic safety and promotion of cycling could make use of the documents.

See below to download the advice sheet.
