A guide to mobility management in ageing societies

The AENEAS project's Staying Mobile: A guide to mobility management in ageing societies report is an in-depth review of innovative case studies from across Europe to encourage the use of public transport and cycling among older citizens and help them remain active and mobile.

It covers mobility campaigns, bus driver training programmes, passenger support services in public transport, individualised travel marketing as well as peer-to-peer approaches in public transport. It also provides guidance on the implementation of soft measures in mobility and transportation that are aimed specifically at older people.

It is designed for use by practitioners who are planning to implement such measures, and who may have questions about how to address older people appropriately and about the sort of measures that are suitable for their communities.

See below to download the report and a summary in the available languages. For more information, visit the AENEAS project website.
