Marketing public transport

In order to increase utilisation of public transport, it is important to properly market public transport services to inform members of the public about the benefits to themselves and their communities. Hop On! is a guide to designing and implementing a marketing campaign for this purpose.

A suggestion for a direct marketing campaign is described, laying out step by step how to raise awareness about the topic. The method was tested in several European cities and the experiences in these cities inform the document.
