2020 Annual Polis Conference
The 2020 Polis Annual Conference will be held virtually from 30 November to 3 December.
The Polis Annual Conference provides an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts, practitioners and decision-makers.
- What are the underlying mechanisms of behavioural change?
- Is COVID-19 a life-changing moment that offers an opportunity for adapting deeply rooted mobility habits and moving onto a fast track towards sustainable change?
- What are the underlying socio-economic aspects that determine the acceptance of new mobility measures by citizens?
- Or do we just need political will and courage?
These questions will be discussed by Daniel Helldén, Vice-Mayor of Stockholm, Giulio Mattioli, transport researcher at the Dortmund Technical University, Lucy Saunders of Healthy Streets, and Mirjam van Coillie, Director of Marketing & Innovation from Dutch bike manufacturer Gazelle.
The keynote speaker will be Maarten Tjallingii, Dutch former professional cyclist and advocate of sustainable mobility.
