
This role will support the delivery of high quality design work across communities and a routes portfolio which includes walking and cycling routes, urban realm improvements and community-led designs.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, or a relevant qualification in urban design, landscape architecture or related field, you will have experience in CAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp or any other 3d modelling software as well as experience in research and in editing and publishing. You will have excellent visual presentation skills, free-hand drawing and/or computer design packages and your communication, interpersonal and networking skills will complement your ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of individuals and organisations. A knowledge of current guidance and best practice in street design in the UK is essential as is your commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport.
