More about UVAR Box project

The aim of the two-year EU-funded UVAR Box project, which started in September 2020, was the digitisation and exchange of data of UVARs across Europe to facilitate the private, public, and commercial use of UVARs. This was achieved thanks to the dedication of the national coordinators, who have engaged with cities, regions, and the national level. These transport and mobility experts facilitated the processes in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Italy.

UVAR Box has digitised urban vehicle access regulations (UVARs) in several EU member states, while providing a base for future cooperation between the different stakeholders of cities, national access points, regulators and other traffic authorities.
