The third (and final!) CIVITAS ELEVATE Regional City Exchange Workshop will take place in Brno, Czech Republic on 19-20 September 2022. The workshop, which is being held back-to-back with the Urban Mobility Days 2022, will focus on sustainable mobility and transport planning at the city-regional level.

It will consist of two parts:

• An afternoon of sessions held in English on 19 September from 12:00-17:00 CEST.
• A morning of sessions held in Czech on 20 September from 9:00-12:30 CEST.

Sharing, learning, and active contribution to the discussion are critical components of this workshop. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis and is limited to 30 participants per day – so be sure to register now! Participation in the workshop is free of charge, and all participants are invited to join the organisers for dinner on 19 September.

Throughout the Czech Republic, a number of “core cities”, such as Brno, and their surrounding municipalities form officially-recognised agglomerations. For example, the Brno Metropolitan Agglomeration is made up of over 140 municipalities! The workshop, organised by CIVITAS ELEVATE, the City of Brno, and the CIVINET Czech & Slovak Republics, will draw on Brno’s experience of ensuring sustainable and useable mobility across this diverse area.
