The European project momo is holding its final conference. This event is packed with insights and information on Car-Sharing in Europe - and beyond.

Participants will get:
  • The findings of three years of work in the momo partnership on all aspects of Car-Sharing in eight European countries
  • State-of-the-art of European Car-Sharing and overseas examples
  • Overview of different Car-Sharing schemes, service providers and systems
  • Best practice examples from the momo partnership
  • momo DVD packed with information, examples, video clips and marketing materials
Find out how modern Car-Sharing increases and improves energy efficiency, reduces the need for car ownership and contributes to sustainable transport patterns. Interact with Car-Sharing experts, decision makers from politics and transport providers.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel. If you are thinking of setting up or expanding a Car-Sharing company, of introducing Car-Sharing to your city or just want to get a real insight, this event will give you all the information you need in one place. Find out what different options are out there, what the biggest hurdles are, and where co-operation make the most sense.

It’s a full day conference presenting the objectives of Car-Sharing and lessons learnt around the world, starting with the European momo project, and continuing with a report on Car-Sharing in North America from Marco Viviani (communauto Canada/ CSA CarSharing Association) and from Lewis Chen (Invers Asia / former General Manager of CO OP CarShare Singapore) on what’s going on in Asia.

The political dimension of Car-Sharing will be discussed with representatives from the European Commission, UITP, the Italian Ministry for Environment, the cities of Bremen, Prague and Dublin. The conference ends with an official dinner where networking makes things happen.

The conference will have interpretation into German.
