The SMARTA Project is hosting its final conference as a digital event on 10 and 11 December 2020. The conference will feature four sessions spread over two days and will be the perfect occasion for mobility practitioners to discuss and learn what works in rural mobility.

On Thursday, 10 December, the event will have a morning and an afternoon session. The morning session will focus on policy recommendations produced by the SMARTA project. In turn, the afternoon session will showcase different shared mobility solutions employed by the SMARTA and SMARTA2 rural areas;

  • How did the SMARTA and SMARTA2 areas come up with these solutions?
  • Did they experience any problem, and if so, how did they address it?

On Friday, 11 December, two back-to-back sessions will take place. The first session will focus on the evaluation findings of SMARTA and showcase the "SMARTA Good Practices" - an array of good practices from rural areas across Europe. In turn, the final session will consider rural mobility from a broader perspective and focus on future opportunities such as community building, including a discussion on COVID-19 and its implications for rural mobility.

The conference will include extensive Q&A sessions and offer the possibility to join interesting discussions in break-out rooms.

Join us and help us improve rural mobility in Europe!
