A mobihub is a recognisable transport hub where different sustainable and shared transport modes are linked with each other. Mobihubs are designed to enable and promote multimodal transport. They facilitate the shift away from a mobility system based on car dependency towards better air quality, more public space and less transport poverty.
Shared Mobility Rocks is holding the Mobihub Student Challenge, an opportunity for students to submit a proposal on shared mobility and mobihubs. The entry can focus on a range of apsects inlcuding infrastructure, communication, product design, participation, user experience, accessibility, urban planning and more. The finalists will be announced on 4 December and the final takes place on 8 December.
The final event will take place online and will combine the presentations of the finalists with keynotes by the members of the jury. At the end, the jury will choose the top 3 winners and the public will decide who wins the audience award. It is open for anyone with an interest in mobility, urbanism and design and for those who are curious about how students and the keynotes speakers look at the mobihub of the future.
The final takes place on 8 December 2020 between 17:00-19:00 CET.
