This programme aims to provide a better understanding of how public transport is regulated, to offer an integrated, quality driven and efficient service to commuters It combines UITP’s international knowledge with LTA’s experience as a regulator of public transport in Singapore. The course also provides opportunities for participants to take part in interactive discussions and workshops and to share their experiences.

This training is aimed at professionals working for transport authorities or operators in areas related to regulation of transport services and operations, contract management and tendering. Professionals actively involved in the relations between transport authorities and operators.

This programme will be useful for cities considering a stronger and more efficient
regulation of transport services, and/or looking at the introduction of contracts and
competitive tendering.
