POLIS Regions Working Group will be holding a physical meeting in Brussels on 27 June 12:00-18:00 CEST to address regional sustainable urban mobility planning and the regions’ role in climate protection.
Regions are key stakeholders in the climate protection and mobility decarbonisation process. POLIS Working Group chair, Baden-Württemberg, will convene a discussion on how cities can and are leading urban mobility decarbonisation and SUMP planning.
The event will be divided into two sessions:
- The first from 12:00-15:30 is hosted by Baden-Württemberg and will examine climate protection policies. Further information about this morning meeting can be found here.
- The second session from 16:00-18:00 will take the form of the POLIS Regions Working Group meeting to address SUMP planning and implementation at a regional level.
This will be followed by an (optional) dinner afterwards, which offers a chance to network and continue the conversation.
Members of POLIS can register for the meeting here.
