LINC is one of the largest projects working with autonomous collective mobility in Denmark. The project’s findings give urban planners insight into the infrastructure, physical and digital, that self-driving shuttles require. LINC’s goal is to get Autonomous Vehicles onto Danish streets and develop public transport to become the go-to green choice for Danish citizens. The project builds on a vision to provide a first/last mile service for the future Greater Copenhagen Light Rail that will support and strengthen the use of the light rail. Learning from the project will support municipal planners in pursuit of sustainable and liveable cities.
The LINC webinar: Beyond the hype of collective autonomous mobility on 30 November 2021, 12:30-16:00 explores public transport innovations to help achieve sustainable city development along the future Greater Copenhagen Light Rail and give stakeholders a unique insight into the Danish legal process and suggested improvements.
Some of the questions that the webinar will pose are:
- Why is autonomous collective mobility important?
- Are users ready for autonomous collective mobility or vice versa?
- Can a smartphone sensing platform help improve how we monitor mobility patterns for a more demand-driven service?
- Can a shared mobility service be better integrated in urban planning?
