The 7th symposium "kommunal mobil" will take place at the Federal Environment Agency in Dessau-Roßlau, Germany from 12-13 May 2022 on "Digitalization.Transport.Environment".

Municipalities have many similarities with each other but also differences. At joint specialist events, municipalities and representatives of the federal states, the federal government and the EU will be able to exchange their experiences, good examples and the latest developments and benefit from each other. The event series "kommunal mobil" offers a platform for this. It aims to show how digital applications can help solve traffic problems in municipalities and answer some of the following questions:

• What framework conditions do municipalities need in order to use the potential of digitization for sustainable urban transport design?
• What role do municipalities and companies play in this transformation process?
• What experiences, best practices and funding opportunities are there?

By exchanging keynotes, practical examples and experiences, these and other questions will be critically discussed.
