For 2 days, Krakow University of Technology will become an international centre for knowledge transfer and networking among European universities on sustainable mobility practices. The University will welcome a range of attendees from university mobility managers, academics, public urban mobility officers, entrepreneurs and businesses of the sector, NGOs, civil society representatives and students.
The aim of the conference is to provide European universities with new innovative tools and support in the process of planning and implementation of sustainable mobility measures.
More than 25 international Mobility experts will share the latest innovative University Mobility Best Practices and conference participants will have the opportunity to discuss needs, ideas and challenges facing universities in relation to accessibility and sustainable mobility field.
The conference will discuss the cooperation of universities and other important stakeholders of sustainable mobility in order to improve traffic accessibility at faculties. The conference will cover the following topics: mobility plans, spatial planning and land use, use of new technologies, promotion and education, cycling, public transport in campuses and cooperation with interested stakeholders.
The conference is part of the U-MOB LIFE project. U-MOB LIFE is the acronym for “European Network for Sustainable Mobility at University”, a European 5-year project co-financed by the European Commission under the LIFE Programme. The project has been running since July 2016 and will run until June 2021.
