The CIVITAS Forum is a bi-annual event hosted by the CIVITAS Initiative that celebrates, promotes and encourages sustainable cities and sustainable urban mobility advancement across Europe.
Hosted this year in Aachen, Germany, the conference will be guided by the central theme 'Smart routes towards climate-neutral cities'.
The CIVITAS Forum 2021 will take place on 20-21 October 2021. It is a hybrid conference, with participants joining on-site in Aachen (Germany) and online.
Registration is free and open to all sustainable urban mobility and sustainable cities experts and enthusiasts.
Online and on-site attendees can look forward to an engaging and informative two days of debate, knowledge exchange and networking. Those present in Aachen will have the opportunity to attend site visits around Aachen, as well as a Gala Dinner where the winners of the CIVITAS Awards will be announced.
The programme includes something for everyone – ranging from electric vehicles and zero emissions planning and policy, to active mobility and citizen engagement.
See the draft programme here.
Given the uncertain situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, on-site attendees can be confident that all health and safety measures will be stringent.
