8th International Hydrail Conference

This is the eighth in the annual convocation series of scholars, engineers, agencies and business entities seeking to expedite the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell battery hybrid passenger and freight trains in order to (1) reduce dependency on (and emissions from) diesel rail traction, (2) to reduce future expense and visual environmental pollution from externally powered electric railways and (3) to power trains using renewable and zero-carbon energy sources.

So far, the International Hydrail Conferences have been convened in the USA, Denmark, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Presentations have come from Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, the Untied Nations (UNIDO-ICHET) and the United States.
