The CIVITAS Forum Conference 2019 will be held in Graz, Austria, from 2-4 October 2019. The 17th edition of Europe's top sustainable urban mobility event will gather the leading figures in the field from across the continent and beyond.

Due to high demand, the CIVITAS Forum has now reached full capacity. Apart from speakers and moderators, new registrants will join a waiting list. However, there are still ways to participate in the Forum from afar.

This varied group of city representatives, practitioners, policymakers and academics will debate and analyse the most pressing mobility topics and witness the pioneering solutions bringing cleaner, better transport to Europe.

Graz is an ideal place to see the intelligent application of technological solutions together with a citizen-focused mobility vision. It is also where the first Forum took place in 2003, and since then mobility in Graz, like in many cities across Europe, has changed significantly. Considering the changes that have taken place, the CIVITAS Forum 2019 has chosen to go 'back to the future' and look at the interplay between new technology and classic mobility solutions in the present day. Alongside this, thematic sessions will focus on the most urgent mobility topics, and take-up and transfer sessions will enable participants to get hands-on with cutting-edge urban mobility tools and see methods in action.

Eltis will also be offering free training on integrating health impacts into SUMPs on 2 October, prior to the start of the CIVITAS Forum. FGM-AMOR will be providing their insights into the design and development of SUMPs which deliver improved mental and physical welbeing. Attend to discuss the integration of health impacts into transport planning with fellow colleagues and experts. For more information, please visit the training webpage.
