Job profile: 
The inspiring challenge of this role is to support the co-ordination and delivery of a new partnership initiative with East Dunbartonshire Council which will build on the vision of the Kirkintilloch Town Centre Masterplan. There will also be responsibility for design work as part of our Street Design team and to provide technical knowledge and skills in urban design and planning.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related field, you will have experience of working on urban design and implementation and project management and effective partnership working.  With excellent written and verbal communication and visual presentation skills, you will have a high level of computer literacy.  You will have the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships and have knowledge of current guidance and best practice in urban design.  You will also be committed to the ideals of sustainable transport.
