Job profile: 
The exciting challenges of this role includes the delivery of workplace active travel initiatives working with small and medium sized enterprises in reducing the costs and resulting environmental impact of business related travel. The focus will be on supporting the implementation of the Smarter Small Business Travel project – a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded project which aims to innovate travel and transport practices.

Ideally, educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of delivering sustainable transport initiatives or other behaviour change projects in workplace settings, of successful client/partnership working within the business sector, leading group workshops and organising events.  You will have the ability to build strong working relationships, your enthusiasm will be motivational to others and your strong written and verbal communications will complement your excellent interpersonal skills.  IT literacy is essential as is an understanding of the health benefits of active travel.  You will also be committed to cycling and walking and the promotion of sustainable transport.

Salary: £21,321 - £23,864 per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience)

Conditions:  37.5 hours per week – contract to 30 November 2015
