Urban Mobility Days detailed conference programme announced

By Patrick Troy / Updated: 22 Sep 2020

The Urban Mobility Days 2020 conference programme is now available to view online. The completely digital event will allow participants to share knowledge and join discussions on key urban mobility topics from their desks.

The conference combines the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). Policymakers, local authorities, academics, and any stakeholders putting the SUMP concept into practice are invited to share their experiences. Attendees will be able to hear sustainable urban mobility success stories from the CIVITAS Living Labs schemes and other examples of pioneering projects across Europe. The knowledge and tools gained will inspire participants to further improve clean and sustainable transport.

This is the ideal opportunity to digitally network with experts, discussing critical issues and ideas on emerging transport trends and technologies. The conference will also discuss connecting zero-emission mobility initiatives with wider EU efforts to tackle climate change and make Europe carbon-neutral by 2050. Resilience to sudden change, highlighted by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, will also be discussed in detail.

Registration is now closed, but you can follow #UrbanMobility to keep up with the event and join the debate on social media. Video recordings of all sessions will be made available via Eltis.
