Do you want to learn about the effects of Covid-19 on urban mobility? Then take part in this free online course instructed by Bax & Company Future Mobility consultant Albert Gragera for EIT Urban Mobility.

Covid-19 has shaken our lives and accelerated some of the trends that were actually already in place before the pandemic. The increase in telecommuting has spurred changes in mobility patterns, and social distancing measures has meant a major blow for public transport.

Although it is all still very recent, relevant data is starting to pile up leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for us to analyse and understand. So far, it is quite difficult to make sense of the seemingly unrelated pieces of evidence, but we are getting closer and closer to understanding what happened, how things have evolved, what we can expect in the near future and what we can do to make things better.

This short course will provide you with extensive and unique evidence on how the pandemic has affected cities and urban mobility.

It will also provide you with a toolkit to guide you on the ongoing trends and what mid- to long-term effects should you expect to arise in the aftermath of the pandemic. I expect it to help you assess how the situation is most likely to unfold in your own city.

So, if you are a policymaker or practitioner and you are eager to know what strategies might help your city reach certain policy goals, a transport professional trying to figure out how Post-Covid mobility might look like, or simply a concerned citizen with interest in cities and mobility, this course is definitely for you!
