Mobility concept Light Car Sharing to be presented in Geneva (Switzerland)

By News Editor / Updated: 01 Aug 2014
EDAG will present 'Light Car Sharing', an electric car designed for car sharing, at the International Motorshow Geneva on 3rd-13th March 2011. Instead of buying a vehicle, the service of individual transport will be purchased.
The third product of the Light Car Series, produced by German company EDAG, goes beyond designing cars: it introduces a new mobility concept called Light Car Sharing. Under the slogan “Mobility for Hire” the car has been designed to be hired by users for short periods. It offers space for 2-6 people who will be able to travel in a radius of 100km with a maximum speed of 100km/h. Once applied, through internet and smart phones the cars’ placement can be located, the battery’s status can be checked and bookings can be made.

Light Car Sharing will be presented to the public at the 81st International Motorshow Geneva, taking place 3rd to 13th March 2011.
