Gdynia modernises bus fleet (Poland)

The transportation company of Gdynia has purchased 4 new environmentally friendly articulated buses powered by compressed natural gas.
The transportation company of Gdynia has purchased 4 new environmentally friendly articulated buses powered by compressed natural gas. Among further seven second-hand buses one bus enables access to internet. The new CNG buses (MAN NG313 G CNG) cost €325,000 each, and have an engine power of 310 PS.
The company has also purchased 7 second hand buses from the Austrian post system, and plan to install internet ‘hot-spots’ on the buses. One bus has been fitted with the system, with the other 6 buses fitted with the equipment soon, with the aim of increasing the attractiveness of public transport in the city in order to attract new users.
