By Jan Christiaens / Updated: 01 Aug 2014
The European Cyclist Federation and Velo-city Global 2014 Adelaide announced that the call for abstracts is now open. Abstracts can be submitted until October 11th.
Adelaide Velo-city Global 2014 Management Committee and the European Cyclists’ Federation invites the public to submit an abstract for presentation at the Adelaide Velo-city Global 2014 Conference, taking place 27–30 May 2014 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, South Australia.

Adelaide Velo-city Global 2014 will be more than just a conference. It will be a celebration of cycling - from what's great about bike riding, to how strong support of cycling can help create safe and vibrant cities, economic resilience and social wellbeing.

Velocity 2014 will address three key themes:

  • Setting the stage: places and spaces
  • Tales worth celebrating: people, communities and journeys, and
  • Celebrations to come: cultural change.

To look at these themes more closely, submitters are asked to apply one or more of the following lenses to your abstract.

Lens 1: The Facts
Lens 2: Leadership
Lens 3: Policy, strategy, planning and partnerships
Lens 4: Creativity and Innovation
