Ideally, educated to HND level in civil engineering or equivalent and SMSTS trained, you will have experience of site working in a similar role, preparing and administering civil engineering projects, budget management and leading and communicating with site teams and contractors. You will also have experience of health and safety management including CDM. Your good communication skills will give you the influence you will require and complement your partnership working experience. You will have knowledge of construction and contract management practices, a working knowledge of site tools and plant, an understanding of health and safety requirements and procedures for sites and be IT literate. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
