During the campaign's duration between 5 April and 8 May altogether 150.000 people in 5.577 company teams registered on the campaign website. They reported covering a total distance of 2.3 million km's, which corresponds to 170.000 EUR of saved petrol and 425t of avoided CO2 emissions. Though one must add that - in spite of the campaign's main goal and based on the results of random interviews - a large share of participants switched to bicycle from public transport and not from their private cars.

ELTIS in the "Cycle to work campaign": the ELTIS project partner Regional Environmental Center signed up with a 5-person team to the competition, collecting an total of 2231 km's and hence finishing among the top 1%!
