European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (EUBCE) 2019
European Biomass Conference & Exhibition
The 27th European Biomass Conference & Exhibition taking place between 27 and 30 May 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal, is a premier global event for research and development on all aspects of this dynamic energy sector, attracting over 1 500 participants from more than 65 countries. It is a world class renowned science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry platform with an absolute and exclusive focus on the global Biomass sector.
The Conference programme includes more than 800 top-class contributions received with abstracts from over 3100 authors and co-authors from 68 countries. The submitted abstracts are scored and selected by Scientific and Industry focused Committees from institutional and industrial research organisations, under the Chair of the European Commission's JRC – Joint Research Centre.
Participants are entered to win Conference’s Prizes and Awards, such as the Linnerborn Prize - awarded to an individual for outstanding merits in biomass - the EUBIA Award - given to companies which demonstrate a high effort in supporting biomass development at commercial and industrial level - and the Poster Awards.
The EUBCE Conference is also a great opportunity for students and young researchers in the field of Biomass. The most remarkable and outstanding research work will receive the EUBCE Student Award and all student awardee will give spoken or poster presentations at the Conference. The award consists of a certificate and recognition delivered at the EUBCE Closing session on Thursday 30 May 2019.
The EUBCE Conference has a great scientific tradition addressing topics from biomass itself to conversion processes for biofuels, bioenergy and biorefineries, to industrial applications of research results and to political policies and impacts on the environment. Excellence, novelty and scope for innovation have been the strict criteria to be respected to present at the EUBCE.
EUBCE 2019 Conference Main Topics are:
• BIOMASS RESOURCES
