The concept of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) has been adopted widely in Europe over the last years. However, new developments in society and technology, as well as valuable experiences from practical implementation require an update of the Guidelines.

The 2018 SUMP Award on multimodality is now open for applications! The call for applications is open until 1 October 2018.

First introduced by the European Commission in 2012, the award helps showcase successful SUMP implementation and honours cities that are demonstrating excellence and raising the profile of SUMPs across Europe.

The latest newsletter features a new UVAR case study from Stockholm, new information and tools from the CIVITAS SUMPs-Up project (member of the Coordinating Group of the European Platform on SUMPs) and a range of news highlights and events.
