New fact sheets detail mobility innovations in Madrid, Munich and Ruse

By rswa178 / Updated: 12 Dec 2018

The first set of a new series of fact sheets chronicling the innovative mobility initiatives being conducted within the CIVITAS ECCENTRIC project are now available.

These focus on Munich (Germany), Ruse (Bulgaria) and Madrid (Spain), three of the project's five Living Lab cities, and provide key details relating to each of the solutions, including;

  • What the solution is - and what has prompted its development;
  • How the measure works;
  • How it is being - or will be - implemented;
  • The expected results;
  • The business model that sits behind each measure.

The work being carried out in the cities spans a broad range of topic areas, such as walking and cycling, mobility management, urban freight, e-mobility, public transport, and transport telematics.

Further fact sheets will be released soon that reveal what is going on in Stockholm (Sweden) and Turku (Finland), the other two demonstration sites in the project. A total of 50 mobility solutions are being implemented as part of the CIVITAS ECCENTRIC project.
