CIVITAS calls on leading cities in sustainable mobility to share knowledge

By Admin / Updated: 07 Oct 2014

Cities with experience in enacting successful sustainable urban mobility measures are invited to engage with cities applying to the forthcoming CIVITAS Activity Fund Call in September.

Those with a background in pushing forward mobility management, car-independent lifestyles, public involvement and collective passenger transport are encouraged to become 'pioneers' through the CIVITAS Activity Fund.

The Fund aims to support take-up activities in the field of sustainable urban mobility to cities across Europe. The pioneer cities will be mentioned in a catalogue of measures that will accompany the Activity Fund call.

Interested cities can send an outline of the measures that they have implemented, as well as a short motivational letter, to Ivo Cré, icre@polisnetwork.eu. The deadline for submission is 10 September 2014.

Pioneer cities will be reimbursed for working time and travel. Activities in the next call are expected to take place in spring 2015. For more information, contact Ivo Cré, icre@polisnetwork.eu, or visit the CIVITAS Activity Fund page.
