The purpose of the website is to help drivers make informed choices about the timing, routing and travel mode for current or future journeys. Traffic Scotland provides cross-border information in partnership with Highways Agency, Network Operators and partners with external special events such as T-in-the-park and British Open Golf. Traffic Scotland is operated by the Traffic Scotland Operator (Atkins) from the Traffic Scotland Control Centre (TSCC). The TSCC operates 24-hours a day and is open every day of the year.
