Welcome to the December issue of the Eltis Newsletter.
This month's issue features news about a global benchmarking document on urban road safety, newly released interviews with SUMP ambassadors as part of the CIVITAS PROSPERITY project, and further plans for pedestrianisation in central Paris. We would also like to draw your attention to our updated legal and privacy policies on Eltis.
Please note that the 6th European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) will take place on 17 and 18 June 2019 in Groningen (NL). You can also find details of the International Transport Forum Summit taking place from 22 to 24 May 2019 in Leipzig, Germany.
This month we also have four case studies to bring to your attention: details of the U-TURN project, which is looking at new models for urban food transportation; a review of the development of a regional SUMP in North Limburg in the Netherlands; and two that describe how Valencia in Spain and Merano in Italy are transforming their public spaces.
